This is a trip that my father-in-law has been doing for twenty-two years with his buddy, who has now sadly passed, and for a number of years my wife and I have continued this annual tradition of his. This year, we had two new companions: my brother-in-law and our three year old Lab, Molly.
We first started to head downstream; but after three miles we ran into heavy cattle and rather than camp near them we decided to hike the three miles back and then hike upstream. We travelled for about 3miles upstream through some scenic rolling hills.

Due to the drive time, followed by our 6 mile exploration and then the 3 hike to our camp location, we were unable to fish that night. On the Friday morning we woke at around 5:30am, made breakfast and then made the 1.5mile hike back downstream to hit a beautiful stretch of water which held some big browns. The picture below is my BIL with his 16inch catch of the day.

Later that afternoon we made our way upstream through some more rolling hills...

... where we then fished more of the creek, as well as some new beaver ponds. Some beautiful wild Brookies were caught in this section. Below is my wife's 13inch and FIL 7inch catch.

Saturday we headed further upstream and got ourselves into some beautiful cutties,
