Sakasa means "reversed". Kebari is the Japanese term for flies. These traditional reverse hackle flies have long been used in Japan and are the most characteristic Tenkara flies. These flies can be fished like emergers, or like soft-hackle wet flies. Movement and life are given to this fly when fished with Tenkara rods. All Tenkara flies come in a glass vial with a cork stopper containing 3 flies. The vial used in packaging the flies can be also be used to capture and study insects in the field.
