When you're fly fishing on a backpacking trip, you can't bring you're entire vest with every fly in the book. You need a small, versatile selection of flies and you need to organize them in the most logical and compact way possible. Enter the Day's Worth Fly Box. This box is cleverly designed to hold every type of fly you'll need to maximize your backcountry fly arsenal while economizing space and weight.
In the lid, 2 foam strips hold your dry flies (or wet if you prefer). They're raised enough to allow easy removal/replacement of even the tiniest midge. The other side of the box is blanketed with a magnet to hold nymphs, wet flies, and streamers. The color is white making identification of each pattern easy and the magnet is strong enough to keep your flies from blowing away in the wind (very important when you're carrying a limited selection to begin with and can't run out to a fly shop to get replacements because you're 10 miles from civilization).
Each box comes with a security line you can attach to a button, chest pack, etc. to ensure that if you drop your box in the water, your nymphs don't take a premature swim (but don't worry, even if you don't use the security line, the box floats!).
BONUS: you'll also get an extra foam strip that you can customize your box with by adding to wherever you choose. Add it horizontally to the magnetic side for more dry fly storage ot trim to size and make it vertical. Or, simply use it as a replacement for a worn-out strip in the lid.
