The use of front packs for backpacking is catching on. The main advantage being that they redistribute weight, giving you better stability, mobility, and balance while making your pack feel lighter. They also give you the convenience of keeping gear readily accessible without having to remove your pack. The RIBZ front pack offers all of these advantages but also doubles as a fly fishing vest and daypack. After you’ve set up camp, load your RIBZ up with some fly boxes, tippet material, pin on a zinger with your nippers and head out for an afternoon of fishing. Or, stuff it with your rain jacket, map, camera and other hiking gear for a day hike from base camp. The RIBZ front pack is truly versatile item that will allow you to do more on each trip.

There are 4 main zippered pockets: 2 large top access pockets for bulkier gear like rain jackets and 2 smaller side pockets for smaller gear like cameras, maps, etc. The larger pockets each feature 2 smaller internal pockets for added organization. The shoulder straps are adjustable and the girth of the pack can be adjusted with internal Velcro straps. All components are water resistant and have proven durability in the most extreme of conditions. With an average storage capacity between 600 and 800 cubic inches, you can comfortably carry up to 10 pounds in the front packs. For best results cleaning your RIBZ we recommend hand washing and air drying. They are capable of being machine washed on gentle cycle though this approach is not favored.
